Paleo Preference is a lifestyle change… it is a healthy way of eating that will help you to lose excess weight and help bring your body into balance. Evolution-ally our bodies and their needs have not really changed for thousands and thousands of years! Yet we have continually changed the way we eat and what we eat. Diseases have continued to grow. Obesity is linked to Heart Disease, Cancer, High Blood Pressure, and diabetes for example!

I find it discomforting that the Canada’s Food Rules which was introduced in 1942 and renamed and reintroduced as Canada’s Food Guide in 1962…is 50 years ago!!! Has there not been any new research? From what I have read and seen all of the diseases listed above have increased substantially since that time. Does any one else recall an announcement for an emergency medical conference that was called some years ago regarding transfats…then suddenly it went all quiet, the news story was swept under the rug?? Then “research” appeared that said that transfats weren’t good for you and even though ALL transfats suddenly were ‘replaced’ ?? Replaced with WHAT!??

Anyway…it’s things like this that got me re-dieting or CHANGING the way I eat. It’s something I want to share because it has visible health benefits. Health benefits that perhaps YOU should look into. Healthy is as Healthy Does… I always say… Truthfully I’ve NEVER said that before but today’s a good day to start!!!
